How to get rid of Rats

Are you struggling with a Rat problem in your house or business. We can help in giving you some information that can help you on how to get rid of Rats, and solve the problem. Rats can be  problem, they mess everywhere, chew on your wires and they carry all sorts of nasty diseases. When you want to sleep at night they will make sure to be very loud. There are ways how to get rid of Rats, but it can take a while.

Ways on how to get rid of Rats:

Some people will say get a cat, yes that might work, but its still not going to sort out your problem. Cats do love hunting Rats, but they can’t get in half the places you want them to get into, like the walls, roof or under the floors. Also your cats food is a nice meal for Rats, they love it so that way you will be feeding the Rats in your house. To find out where Rats are nesting is to keep an eye on where the most droppings are or if you see a hole in the wall, that is more or less where you can leave Rat traps. If you want to set a trap make sure to place the Rat trap in the right places. Rats don’t just run around freely because they can’t see very good, Rats use their sense of smell to get around. The best places to put down Rat traps is along the side of your walls or against objects.

When using Rat poison you need to read all the instructions as the poison does not kill rats immediately it takes about a week, so when putting down Rat poison you are going to have to be patient. Check all traps regularly as a Rat corps can leave a very unpleasant smell if left for to long. My personal opinion will be using a Rat trap that way the rat dies immediately and not a slow, long and painful death.

Preventing a Rat infestation:

It is very easy to prevent Rats from invading your house or business. Start by keeping your garbage clean. When throwing out your garbage make sure to throw it in the bin and close the lid properly. Cause when left laying around the house gives Rats easy access. Another way to prevent Rats from coming into your house is keep all open foods in sealed  containers and packed away. If you have dog or cat food laying around in the open, put them also in sealed containers, like i mentioned earlier Rats love dog and cat food.
